CUSTOM BUILD – LIVE EDGE SILKY OAK LIGHT TABLE
There’s something pretty special about taking a beautiful piece of timber and giving it a whole new life.
Our latest custom build here at STAG started with a stunning 50mm slab of live-edge Silky Oak. With its natural edge, rich character and unique grain, this beautiful piece of Australian timber was always destined to become something special.
STAG would like to say a big “Thank You” to Northside Plastics, now conveniently located at Wattle Camp, for the beautiful Pearl Perspex donation, we put it to good use to create a beautiful light box as our tables centre piece.
The result? A one-of-a-kind live-edge light table, designed to be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors.
But this table isn’t just about being a unique piece, it’s being created for a cause that means a lot to our local community.
We’re proud to be donating this custom piece to the Taabinga Lions, who will be raffling it, along with other incredible prizes, to raise funds for Free Trade Day 2027 here in the South Burnett.
So, what is Free Trade Day?
Free Trade Day is an incredible community-led initiative run through Taabinga Lions, bringing together local trades and businesses to donate their time, skills and resources to help community members who may need essential home repairs, accessibility modifications, maintenance or other services, but simply can’t afford them.
It’s community helping community, and we’re incredibly proud to play our part.
Our hope is that this table raises plenty of funds and helps contribute to another successful Free Trade Day in 2027.
Beautiful timber, one of a kind piece, all for an even better purpose.
